What we do
A three-step soft washing process designed to clean your siding without relying on aggressive pressure.
At Bright Side Soft Wash, we use a combination of cleaning solution, dwell time, and high-volume, low-pressure water to remove dirt, algae, mildew, and other organic buildup from exterior siding.
Our process consists of three important steps:
- 1. Pre-Rinse & Vegetation Protection
Before applying any cleaning solution, we thoroughly pre-rinse the surrounding vegetation and areas that may be exposed during the cleaning process.
This helps prepare the area before we begin applying our cleaning solution and is an important part of treating your property responsibly.
- 2. Apply the Cleaning Solution
We apply a properly mixed cleaning solution to the siding using our soft wash system. The solution is formulated to break down the organic buildup and other contaminants that cause siding to become dirty, stained, or green.
We also use a surfactant to help the solution spread and remain on the surface rather than immediately running off.
Instead of trying to blast the buildup away with high pressure, we allow the cleaning solution to do the majority of the cleaning work.
- 3. Post-Rinse
After allowing the solution sufficient time to work, we thoroughly rinse the siding and surrounding areas.
Our system uses a centrifugal pump configured for high water flow at low pressure. Unlike the positive-displacement pumps commonly used in pressure washers, our system isn’t built around generating extreme pressure.
The goal is to provide the water flow necessary to thoroughly rinse the siding while minimizing the mechanical force being applied to the surface.
Clean with chemistry. Rinse with flow.
Why Soft Washing?
Traditional pressure washing relies heavily on mechanical force to remove contaminants from a surface. Soft washing takes a different approach.
Rather than making high pressure responsible for the cleaning, we use the cleaning solution and dwell time to break down the buildup, followed by a high-volume, low-pressure rinse.
This approach is particularly well suited to exterior siding, where excessive pressure isn’t necessary to achieve a clean result.
The objective isn’t to use the most pressure possible. It’s to use the right combination of cleaning solution, time, and water flow to get the job done properly.

I’m Joe the owner and operator of Bright Side Soft Wash, as well as an Engineering Technician, where I work in a hands-on, technical environment that requires attention to detail, following procedures, and taking safety seriously. I bring that same mindset to every home I clean.
I started Bright Side Soft Wash because I believe your home shouldn’t need aggressive pressure washing to look its best. Instead of relying on high pressure to force dirt and organic buildup from the surface, I use a soft washing process that allows the cleaning solution to do the heavy work while keeping the pressure applied to your siding low.
